Our history

At Shanning View, clay is more than just a raw material; It is the beginning of a journey that combines tradition and innovation. Founded in 2001 as Olaria do Monte, we are heirs to the rich ceramic tradition of Barcelos, where each piece is molded by hand with a generous percentage of red terracotta, keeping artisanal authenticity alive.

From Europe to the United States

Since our first steps we have cultivated an incessant search for excellence, conquering international markets with our exclusively handcrafted decorative vases. After gaining prominence in Europe, we expanded our presence to the United States, opening doors to new opportunities and partnerships around the world.

A Legacy of Tradition and Innovation

In 2014 two visionaries, Fernando Macedo and Joaquim Miranda, shaped Shanning View, bringing with them more than twenty years of experience in the ceramic arts. Since then we have grown in facilities and experience, taking the production of handcrafted pieces to new levels of excellence.
